Craft your Purpose Statement

Write your "one sentence" using the structure of role + outcome. Think stable and far-reaching, and contributing to the world.

Your "reason for being"

  • Make it inspiring

  • Make it brief

  • Have a “role” and an outcome

  • Strike a balance between "aspiration and precision”

  • Know it can change — over time, with the times
